It’s so weird seeing these gifs because when you actually watch the show they do it so gradually that you barely even notice (at least I didn’t) but then you look at these and it’s like, whoaa. Even Winry has a completely different face, it’s not just Ed getting taller and more muscular.
Animation, you’re doing it right.

This is actually one of the things I love most about FMA. They age so gradually, just like real people. A lot of times in anime and other animation, there’s not really a slow process of growing up; it’s just sort of, “Hey, look, she has curves now, and he’s way taller.”

Alphonse climbed the stairs to Ed’s apartment, suitcase in hand. This thing gets heavy after three flights of these! he thought, gritting his teeth as he reached the landing, a small piece of paper in his other hand. 319, he read, glancing around at the first door and continuing down the hallway. 311, 313, 315… He counted down each one until finally reaching his destination. Heart racing, he wrapped on the door with his mostly free hand. Why am I so nervous? the blonde wondered. Maybe it was because he hadn’t told Ed he’d be visiting. Yeah, the anticipation…
He waited, heart unsteady all the while.
He is my brother, after all.
Edward heard something from outside of the apartment and walked over to it, looking through the peep hole. His heart skipped a beat. He saw that his younger brother was outside. Why didn’t he call? He opened the door as he looked at his brother. “Alphonse? What are you doing here?” He asked curiously his heart beating rapidly. His little brother was here to see him. He wasn’t sure what to feel. Excited and nervousness erupted his entire body.

Edward sat in his apartment in Central all alone. Alphonse hadn’t been around in over months, he really wished he could see him again. It was rather lonely without him around these days. Ever since his body was returned he had been off to Xing. He was starting to feel like he had forgotten all about him. Maybe he’d come back down again to see him someday.
His tongue then darted into the others mouth, feeling his face heat up his hold on the other got tighter, wanting nothing more then to just take the male right then and there. As their tongues wrestled together his hands slowly made their way up the other shirt running his finger tips along his bare back.
He moaned within the kiss as their tongues wrestled for dominance. He couldn’t help but shiver as h felt his fingertips against his his bare skin. Tingles ran up his spine, feeling himself grow harder with each passing second. He loved feeling the other touch him.

Today is a sort of break away from farm work, so I decided to take the train and travel a bit.”
“I see.” He sighed. “If only it were that easy for me.” He replied looking over at her. “It’s not so easy opening up to people. Its hard to let them in.” He laid on his side looking down at the mattress that he was laying on.
